We braved the traveling hordes the day after Christmas with two children in tow. It was worth it. Palm Villa is the perfect spot to relax -- gorgeous views, beautifully maintained, a short walk to the beach and, although close to anything you might want to do, private. We hunted for shells in the morning -- found shells and iguanas too -- we walked the beach under the moon to the sound of a Carribean band and then lay in the beach hammocks and watched the stars. When we forced ourselves inside, it was to a beautifully decorated and very comfortable island home with the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep. If your teenager insists on TV, there is one and a cd player, and a microwave and (oh joy) a laundry room. You will enjoy staying here -- a guest in a well-loved home.
