The beach at Cowpet offers plenty of shade, and there’s little surf -- so kids can build sand castles right at the
water’s edge. As our twin sons grew older, their favorite activities changed. We rented sea kayaks and Sunfish right on the beach, and sailed in the bay. Now, as teenagers, they like to hang out with the other kids they meet -- at the beach, the volleyball net, or to work out at the gym. Often, we’ll drive or take a taxi to another beach to enjoy a different slice of Caribbean lifestyle.
Local restaurants welcome families. For stay-at-home nights, Palm Villa’s kitchen is fully-equipped with electric range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven and blender. There’s a full-sized washer and dryer in the laundry room.
